Mark Bentley is a Landscape Architect at the environmental charity Groundwork London. Since joining Groundwork in 2011, Mark has worked on the design and management of public realm, parks and housing estate improvement projects with communities across London.
Mark is currently leading the design and implementation of a series of climate change adaptation measures on three housing estates in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, as part of a large EU funded project.
Mark previously worked as an Environmental Consultant at Jacobs Engineering UK Ltd, and before that as a Project Manager at the construction research organisation CIRIA. Through these roles Mark worked on the development and implementation of best practice in areas including embodied carbon assessment, construction resource efficiency and urban ecology.
